We do not accept this information over the telephone.

4. How do I get a Statuette engraved?

7. Office Hours?
The office hours for the Trading Team are Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700

8. Do you have a Product Catalogue?
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic over the past few years we have been unable to arrange photoshoots for our products and therefore we do not have a current catalogue available. Our online shop is the best place to see what we have to offer as this is regularly updated.

9. Can I purchase a Helping Hoodie if I am do not work for the FRS?

Unfortunately these products are only available to be purchased by currently serving FRS personal or retired FRS personal and a password will be required to place the order. (This password can be obtained form the your FRS internal communications team)  We do however still sell our Firefighters Charity hoodies which are available for all general public to purchase also.

10. I can't see my FRS as an option for the Helping hoodies?

This will mean that we have not yet had permission from your Brigade to use your FRS badge on the hoodies. The best way to help us speed this up is drop your internal communications team an email asking for them to grant the Charity permission to do so as we would be happy to provide badged hoodies to all of our UK based FRS.

Stainless steel automatic diving watch built to look like it is on fire. With a unique layered flaming dial, stainless steel bezel with orange markers, glow in the dark caseback, crown made from a 100 year old melted-down British brass firefighter's helmet and straps made from upcycled fire hose. Beautifully presented in a genuine Italian leather, fire hose inspired travel roll, that holds up to 3 watches.

Case Measurements:

The case measures 41mm in diameter, with a 15mm thickness (15.5mm including glass) and a lug width of 20mm. The watch wears as a medium size on an average wrist as it showcases a raised double domed sapphire crystal glass.

Lug to Lug:

The lug to lug measurement is 49mm. This is an important measurement from the top of the north lug to the bottom of the south lug, allowing you to know how much real estate the watch will take up on your wrist.

Case Execution:

The case is finished in 316L grade stainless steel with the sides and lugs executed with a brushed finish. The aluminium bezel is unidirectional with a strong setting to each click. The caseback engravings such as the limited edition or authenticity markings are applied through laser engraving.

Movement:

Seiko Group (also known as Time Module) NH35 Automatic Movement with a power reserve of up to 41 hours, 24 jewels accuracy and 21,600 beats per hour. Seiko timekeeping tolerances for the NH35 movement is -20 seconds per day to +40 seconds per day. This durable movement has been produced by Seiko Group for decades and is known as the workhorse in the watch industry. For full power reserve Seiko suggests winding the crown 55 times before use.

Dial Execution:

The dial is finished in different shades of sun burst orange layers, creating an illusion that the flames on the dial are moving when the light catches it right. The outline of the flames are made in a high polished stainless steel creating a beautiful reflection under the glass.

Dial Design:

The dial is designed to look like it is on fire, and has been created with depth, texture and layers in mind. When the light catches the dial it creates an illusion that the flames are moving on the dial.

Crystal:

The material used in the glass is sapphire crystal with an applied anti-reflective coating. The glass is completely scratch resistant and finished with an impressive double domed curve. The glass is tinted with a medium blue colour paying tribute to William Wood’s 25 years of service on a shift pattern called The Blue Watch for the Newcastle & Gateshead Fire Brigade.

Strap Measurements:

The fire hose and fire gear straps fit a wrist size between 5.5 and 9.5 inches. The stainless steel bracelet comes with additional links so it can be adjusted to measure all wrist sizes. William Wood Watches do not currently offer straps for lug sizes outside of 20mm.

Strap Execution:

The full range of watch straps have a 20mm lug width fitting all of our watch collections. The upcycled fire hose and fire gear straps are finished with a silicon back that is stamped with ‘made from rescued materials’ and ‘William Wood’. All of the straps are fitted with quick-release levers allowing you to add and remove any of straps without any additional tools required in just a few seconds.
