2. These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our online shop.
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
3. Ordering
When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order.
This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted. Acceptance of your order takes place when we dispatch the goods.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is an error in pricing or product information;
- we suspect fraudulent activity; or
- we are unable to fulfil the order for any other reasonable reason.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling (£).
Prices include VAT where applicable.
Payment must be made in full at the time an order is placed using one of the payment methods available through the website.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If an obvious pricing error is identified after an order has been placed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment received.
5. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either:
- a full refund; or
- an alternative item where appropriate.
6. Delivery and Delivery Charges
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands only.
Delivery charges are shown during the checkout process before your order is confirmed and form part of the total amount payable.
We aim to dispatch orders within five working days, although delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address provided with your order.
7. Returns and Refunds
If you change your mind about a purchase, you may return most items within 14 days of receiving them.
Returned items must be:
- unused;
- in a saleable condition; and
- returned with original packaging where reasonably possible.
Unless an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, delivery charges paid when the order was placed will not be refunded.
No refund, replacement, exchange, or credit will be provided where a product has been manufactured and supplied in accordance with the personalisation details submitted by the customer, including where the customer has subsequently identified an error in those details.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Misspelt names or words.
- Incorrect dates.
- Incorrect wording supplied by the customer.
- Incorrect artwork or images uploaded by the customer.
- Formatting or layout approved by the customer before production.
Where an error has occurred as a result of a third-party supplier’s manufacturing process and the finished product does not match the personalisation details provided or approved by the customer, the third-party supplier will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the affected product.
You are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items to us.

Once returned goods have been received and inspected, we will process any refund due using the original payment method.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing shop@firefighterscharity.org.uk.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund. Where appropriate, we will also reimburse reasonable return postage costs.
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights in relation to faulty goods.
9. Personalised or Non-Returnable Products
Where products have been personalised or made specifically to your requirements, they will not be eligible for return unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- breach of your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, our liability arising from your purchase shall be limited to the amount paid for the goods concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss except where required by law.
11. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, industrial disputes, disruption to transport services, supplier failures or transport delays.
12. Privacy
Any personal information provided when placing an order will be processed in accordance with Fire Fighters Charity's Privacy Notice.
13. Links to Third-Party Websites
This website may contain links to third-party websites, products or services for your convenience.
Where you choose to follow a link to a third-party website, any purchase you make or information you provide will be subject to that third party's own terms and conditions, privacy notice and policies. We recommend that you review those documents before placing an order or providing personal information.
Fire Fighters Trading Limited is not responsible for the content, availability, products, services or privacy practices of third-party websites.
These Terms and Conditions apply only to purchases made directly through the Fire Fighters Charity online shop where Fire Fighters Trading Limited is the seller. Products purchased from third-party websites are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.
Similarly, Fire Fighters Charity's Privacy Notice applies only to personal information collected through our own websites and services and does not apply to third-party websites.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
